Solution Architect
Even when we were students in the scientific field, some lecturers assumed that we were tech-savvy but untalented when it came to language and writing. I refused to silently accept this assumption, so I worked even harder to write technical texts with a lot of information and a pleasant style.
After my degree I continued to enjoy this combination of technology and the transfer of information, so the profession of technical editor, which had previously been unknown to me, seemed to be a logical destination. That is why I switched careers and joined the technical editing department at kothes in Kempen in 2011.
As well as creating CE-compliant documentation in the form of operating manuals and risk assessments, I quickly assumed project and team responsibilities. As a last step I moved further towards future documentation forms and technologies.
What I like about my job is that our customers and I can demonstrate that information today cannot be compared to the documentation of the past.
My aim at kothes is to generate information with added value that does not require additional time and effort.
