tekom Europe's new three-day online event promises a wide-ranging exchange on technical documentation topics – above all, of course, artificial intelligence, new technologies and the corporate value of technical documentation. Our Managing Director Lars Kothes will give a talk entitled 'Convince the management: Investment in technical documentation', highlighting how you can make a strong case for the importance of technical writing for your company.
Christoph Beenen and Birgit Fuhrmann from the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences will hold a workshop on 'Designing editorial processes successfully'. The two will focus on the ever-changing challenges in technical writing and show how these might actually be opportunities. Working in small groups, the participants will analyse and optimise the editorial process using a fictitious technical writing department. Design thinking methods will be used, which you can ideally also use in your team.
The event will take place from April, 2 - 4 2025 and will be held entirely online via Zoom. You can find everything else on the event website.
